Chris Brown Accused Of Fighting During Basketball Game
Singer Chris Brown, who was released from probation last month after serving a sentence that included community service and a yearlong domestic violence program due to his assault on singer Rihanna who was his then girlfriend, has been named as a suspect in an alleged assault that took place during a basketball game on Monday, the fourth of May in Las Vegas.
According to the police, witnesses reported that an argument started at the Palms Casino Resort of Las Vegas which later led to a fight. The reported victim was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Nicole Perna who is the publicist of Chris Brown has apparently denied these accusations and said that Chris is in Las Vegas because he is performing at Drai's today on the 5th of May, where he will also receive a key to the strip.
She said that Chris has been provided with a suite which has a basketball court at the hotel. She said he invited some friends to play and an unruly individual showed up who was then removed from the premises, but Chris was not in any altercation with him.
Meanwhile, police are reporting that there was a verbal altercation on the court and the victim was punched by a male subject who was later identified as the twenty-five-year-old recording artist Chris Brown. It is said that Brown was given an option of either signing a citation for misdemeanor battery or having the case submitted to the office of the district attorney at Clark County. But it is not yet confirmed which option he took.
