Memorable moments from the 2015 Baftas
British Academy Film Awards– BAFTA is an annual award show hosted by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
Some people think it is more important from the Oscars, or if not important, than more valuable. Anyways, if you are nominated here, you have a great chance to be nominated for the Oscars.
The 2015 awards were held at the Royal Opera House on Sunday, February 8th. Even though it’s been a while, we decided to write about the most memorable moments from the 2015, Baftas.
One of the moments that some found entertaining, and some offensive was when Stephen Fry did an impersonation of Stephen Hawking. Even though Hawking is considered as one of the world’s greatest living humans and many people have great respect for this man, it is obvious that some people find his illness funny.
Yes, Fry’s imitation did raise few laughs, but majority of people found it very offensive.
On the other hand, something really funny happened. Stephen Fry referred to Patricia Arquette, a Boyhood star as “ Rosanna “ Arquette in his opening monologue. Luckily audience didn’t seem to notice this mistake, or they just didn’t want to make a fuss about that.
Stephen Fry was in the spotlight that night, and it seemed like nothing can make him blush, but it turns out that one man can- Cuba Gooding Jr.
He gave him a kiss, and that kiss made the host blush and he was totally confused, probably cause he didn’t expect it.
